Anti-bullying and harassment
Bullying and harassment in any form is not acceptable at Wintec.
Bullying is unreasonable behaviour, repeated over time that is deliberate and intended to humiliate or undermine the target.
Harassment is an
unwelcome comment, conduct or gesture that is insulting, intimidating, humiliating, malicious, degrading or offensive. This may include sexual or racial harassment.
Wintec is committed to ensuring our learning environment is healthy and safe. We want to promote a culture
of dignity and respect, where people are free from bullying and harassment in all its forms, and we take our obligations in this respect seriously.

concerns when it comes to bullying and harassment, or contact one of the following, who can provide confidential support and information:
- Your Class Representative
- Student Association (SAWIT)
- Student Life Advisors or Kaiāwhina
- Counsellors (Wintec Health Services)
- International Student Support staff
