Introduction to Professional Cookery (Level 3)
About the programme
This Year 3 programme will allow you to further develop your cooking skills in a commercial environment. You will learn how to blend ingredients and flavours, and master mouth-watering local and international dishes along with delicious hot and cold desserts. These skills will include a variety of cooking methods along with plating and serving.

Criteria: Students enrolled in the WTA must still attend secondary school and keep up with normal school work. The unit standards achieved at the WTA will count towards NCEA Level 1, 2, or 3.

Duration of programme: 31 weeks
Programme structure: One day per week (8.30am-3pm) during the school term.
Location: Rotokauri Campus, Hamilton.
Cost: Free to the student.
Transport: To be arranged with your school and covered by WTA (if applicable).
