Industry and community

We pride ourselves in being one of the driving forces in the Waikato region but of course we can't do it alone.

By listening and responding to the needs of employers, iwi and community organisations, we are able to create worlds that are as beneficial to our graduates as their employers and the community around them. We also work alongside Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, the University of Waikato and other education providers to make sure that collectively, we are addressing the region's tertiary education needs and priorities.

Part of that is offering flexible training arrangements so that people in the community can gain the skills they need while still in the workplace.

Find out more about how we can help your business or organisation. From curriculum development and sponsorship to research services and employer partnerships - we are here to work for the Waikato.

Services for the community

A big part of our world is community and by providing these products and services, we are also giving our students the opportunity to be immersed in their industry.

Industry and employers

Our mission is to build stronger communities through education, research and career development. Engaging with stakeholders in our community is fundamental to our continued relevance and success as a tertiary institution. Our success will be reflected through increasing the capability and employability of our students, the relevance of our products and services and the quality of our relationships with employers.
