- - Quantity surveying documentation relevant to specific trade sections: documentation assembled includes excavation, concrete work, reinforcing steel, brickwork, blockwork, metal windows and doors, carpentry, joinery, roofing, plasterboard linings, floor coverings, glazing. Identification and correction of discrepancies.
- Preparation of trade sections of a schedule of quantities.
- Assembly of schedules of quantities: items checked against documentation, schedules measured and compiled to industry standard for a range of trade sections. - Learning Outcomes
- - Interpret quantity surveying documentation relevant to specific trade sections, not including services, to measure quantities for a small building project.
- Prepare trade sections for a schedule of quantities for a small building project.
