Content
- Dimensions, construction, materials, finishes, structural requirements, estimated costs including a schedule of elemental costs.
- Proposal is prepared in accordance with regulatory controls and client feedback.
- Industry best practise is observed
- Range of drawings developed in accordance with preliminary design.
- Digital technologies which may include CAD and BIM
- Drawings and resource consent application documentation meets client, site and regulatory requirements.

- Develop a building proposal from a preliminary design
- Produce building design drawings from a preliminary design
- Prepare approval documentation to meet client, site, and compliance requirements
Assessment Criteria
Assessment in this course employs an achievement-based grading scheme. Aakonga will be advised of all matters relating to summative assessment prior to the start of the course.
