- 1. Use a throw ball and line to set climbing lines above 10 metres
2. Use climbing lines and harness to ascend and descend clear stemmed trees
3. Install and use false crotches.
4. Set climbing lines for branch walking
5. Branch walk
6. Climb difficult trees with trunks or stems over 10 metres.
7. Undertake an aerial rescue above 15 metres in an arboriculture situation.
8. Demonstrate knwoledge of medical emergencies a tree climber could encounter and first aid response. - Content

- Teaching and learning methods will be face to face delivery including workshops, project based interactive tasks, with group sessions, tutorials, and creation of portfolios of evidence.
- Assessment Criteria
- Assessment in this module is mixed mode. Students must gain a minimum mark of 50% in the achievement-based assessments and meet all the requirements of the competency-based assessments including carrying out all tasks in a safe manner and to industry standard to be eligible for a final grade for this module. The final grade will be based on the marks from the achievement-based assessment tasks
