Content
- Select plants for planting suitable for the site.
- Prepare the planting area according to plant requirements and plant plants to allow for optimum growth.
- Apply mulches according to plant requirement
- Wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the task.
- Work safely around other people and machinery working on site.
- Clean and store tools and equipment after use.

Teaching and Learning Strategy
Theoretical face-to-face and online sessions including tutorials, workshops, group activities, discussion, workbooks, independent learning, and assignments.

The portfolio of evidence is comprised of multiple components and will demonstrate the achievement of the required knowledge, competencies and capabilities across all learning outcomes.
