Prescription
This module aims to develop writing skills to meet applied needs of students at a CEFR low B2 level. They will begin to write clear, connected texts on a variety of subjects related to the applied contexts. The student will be able to use a range of linking words effectively to show clearly the relationship between ideas.

- Mechanics
-punctuation in formal and informal texts including dashes, brackets, bullet points and speech marks
-spelling used in academic life
-basic grammatical structures, including conjunctions, connectives and discourse markers.

- The portfolio is comprised of multiple assessment tasks, not tests alone. To pass this module, students must attempt and pass all summative assessment tasks
