- 1. Discuss the application of theories of human development across the lifespan and their relevance to the provision of care to health consumers.
2. Describe the concept of cultural safety in nursing practice and explain the role of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi and its relationship to the experience of the health consumer.
3. Discuss the socio-political and cultural influences that impact on the delivery of health care for health consumer, family/whanau and communities.
