2. Analyse environmental factors, and how these influence trees growth and production cycle. - Content

? The development strategies of trees and how they co-ordinate their life cycles to meet the changes in environment and energy allocations.
? Tree biomechanics, shape optimization and the ‘body language’ of trees.

? Practical applications of controlling tree growth. - Assessment Criteria
- The portfolio is comprised of multiple components. Students need to pass all components of the portfolio with at least 50% in order to pass this module.
