Prescription
To enable students to make sense of numbers, graphs and fundamental statistical concepts; and to use, interpret and report them in a meaningful way in business practice. This paper also provides a foundation for further study, research and project management requiring an analytical approach

summarise data from a variety of business sources using computer based statistical
packages; interpret and report on findings in a manner which would be useful to people
with and without significant statistical knowledge

relationships in business data using the tools of index numbers, time series and correlation
and regression
4. Be able to analyse, make decisions and report on these decisions in a business
environment, where uncertainty is the norm, using the tools of probability models and
