- 1.Identify and describe, based on relevant literature review, the systems, physical resources and management processes of venue operation observed at an indoor/outdoor event
2. Analyse and critique the traffic management, customer management and site logistics of an
outdoor event, with a focus on operational and health and safety issues
3. Develop a comprehensive logistics plan for an event in a specified physical location,
deploying staging and technical elements, to reveal how logistics aspects eg site
management, lighting, sound, special effects, etc, contribute to the success of an event - Content
- - Operational understanding of crowd flow, traffic management and event set up logistics
- Application of elements of event production
- Influences on customers via particular configurations of the services cape
- Importance of knowledge of sound. Lighting, pyrotechnics, electrical and other staging

- Teaching will involve blended delivery methods incorporating the Moodle online delivery platform. Other delivery methods my involve theoretical and practical classes, face to face, lectures, tutorials, workshops, group activities, guest tutors, field trips, role-play, and video conferencing, as appropriate.
- Assessment Criteria
- Students must achieve a minimum pass of 40 for Assessment 3. Candidate must achieve a minimum C grade pass overall from all assessments to receive a passing grade for the module
