Teaching and Learning Strategy
Directed hours are comprised of learning with a provider. These learning hours may include in-class activities; workshop activities and practice; coaching and progress conversations; formative assessment; night-class tutorials; group discussions and activities.

Self-Directed hours are comprised of Study Guide reading and activities; research using texts and the Internet; video; discussion groups, and online chat groups such as closed Facebook study groups; creating study notes, recording work experience.
Learning Outcomes
LO 2.1 Describe the regulatory and personal ethical framework that impacts work in the plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying sector.
LO2.2 Demonstrate skills in selecting and using tools in plumbing and drainlaying projects.
LO 2.3 Create simple drawings and record variations for plumbing and drainlaying.
Assessment Criteria
Assessment in this module is competency-based. In order to pass this module students must attempt and meet all the requirements of the competency-based assessments including carrying out all tasks in a safe manner and to industry standard
