- 1. Undertake an evidence-based project, as previously agreed during modules MNSC931 Whanau and Community Hauora and MNSC832 Clinical Practicum 2 – Whanau and Community Hauora
2. Critically explore transformative, evidence-based approaches to managing practice opportunities and challenges.
3. Construct and implement a methodological approach drawing on western and/or Maaori conceptual frameworks and resources to inform the project.
4. Evaluate primary rangahau or research and other sources of evidence to inform solutions to practice challenges and opportunities.
5. Critically examine strategies for community engagement, and knowledge transfer in practice. - Content

Hauora is a Maaori concept of well-being, which encompasses the physical, mental and emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of health, and is recognised by the World Health Organisation. - Assessment Criteria
- The portfolio is comprised of multiple components. Students must meet all learning outcomes, and achieve a minimum of 50% in each assessment in the portfolio to pass the module.

- An extended reading list will be supplied by the tutor at the commencement of the module. This will be updated annually.
