The purpose of this module is to develop a conceptual framework for the inquiry process model in the classroom and to use this framework as a basis for exploring the ways in which ICT can be used to support the inquiry process in the classroom.

Learning Outcomes:
1. To critically evaluate the main theoretical perspectives that informs teaching and learning practices within the inquiry process.
2. To compare and contrast the different inquiry models
3. To develop and use with a class a lesson plan using the inquiry process
4. To reflect on the students personal development in the inquiry process
5. To discuss with peers the issues involved in the implementation of the inquiry process in the classroom.
6. To explore the web 2.0 tools that are available to support the inquiry process in the classroom.
