This module is designed to help students understand the lived experience of health across the lifespan. The dynamic nature of health and wellness experiences across the lifespan will be explored in relation to the social, environmental, political, economic and cultural contexts of Aotearoa New Zealand. In this module a range of historical and contemporary theoretical perspectives about health and human development will be explored.
