Acute conditions include:
- Pneumonia
- Allergic reactions
- Primary fluid and electrolyte imbalances
- Acute renal failure
- Gastro-intestinal disturbances
- Pancreatitis/ Hepatitis
- Acute head injuries
- Vomiting, diarrhoea, peptic ulcers
- Fractures
- Lacerations, wounds and specific inflammatory conditions
- Acute cardiac and cardiovascular disorders
- Acute cerebrovascular disorders
- Schizophrenia
- Bipolar disorders
- Organ transplantation
7. Describe the principles behind methods of monitoring of physiological parameters and sampling for laboratory tests
- Physical monitoring of acute conditions
8. Demonstrate strategies to manage and document clinical reasoning supported by health informatics
