- - Theoretical underpinnings of social research , including Kaupapa Maaori, Maaori centred, Bi cultural and Western frameworks
- Research methodologies and methods
- Research ethical issues in research design
- Issues in data collection
- Issues in data analysis and interpretation
- Developing a literature review - Teaching and Learning Strategy
- May include: Project-based Learning; Flipped Classroom; Blended Learning; Work-Integrated Learning; Inclusive Practices.
Methods may include workshops and practical classes, tutorials, case-based learning, inquiry-based learning, group activities & discussion, supported online learning, e-portfolio, practice simulation. - Basic of Assessment
