1.1 Drawings integrate and co-ordinate the information from specialist consultants.
1.2 Information enables building consents to be prepared.
1.3 Drawings are cross referenced to the work of the specialist consultants.
1.4 Scale is selected in accordance with the drawing content and purpose.
1.5 Symbols used conform to Australian Standard 1100 or to a legend which makes the drawings self-explanatory.

element 2 Prepare assembly drawings for medium buildings.

performance criteria
2.1 Drawings are in accordance with the location drawings.
2.2 Drawings show construction and assembly requirements.
2.3 Drawings cross reference to the specifications of the materials used.
2.4 Drawings co-ordinate and integrate the information of other specialist consultants.

element 3 Prepare component drawings for medium buildings.

performance criteria
3.1 All required components are detailed in accordance with the working drawings.
3.2 Drawings enable sub-contractors to supply components.

element 4 Prepare schedules of materials and finishes for medium buildings.

4.1 Schedules facilitate the work of sub-contractors.
4.2 Schedules include the required components.
4.3 Schedules enable sub-contractors to estimate quantities, scope, and standards of finishes.

5.1 The purpose of a specification is explained in the context of a set of contract documents.
5.2 Specification clauses for architectural Engineering, Science and Primary Industries are produced utilising standard specification clauses.
