• Follow standard operating procedures to prepare equipment and ingredients for espresso beverage service
• Maintain health and safety requirements

Teaching and Learning Strategy
Learning and teaching activities will employ a range of elements drawn from approved methods to align with the context of the learning (delivery mode, regional specific requirement, etc.) and any particular needs of the group of aakonga.
Assessment Criteria
Assessment in this programme is either competency-based, or achievement-based with competency-based assessment for optional unit standards. Aakonga will be advised of all matters relating to summative assessment at the start of the course.
Aakonga are required to provide sufficient evidence against all learning outcomes in order to pass a course.
