Kia ora e te whānau, my name is Germaine Matenga, aka G-Man. I come from the mighty Tauranga Moana with iwi connections to Ngāti Maru (Hauraki) and Ngāti Kahungunu. As a former Wintec student and a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Applied Information Technology, I have walked these hallways and I have sat in these classrooms. I understand the day-to-day pressures and struggles that you may face. I embrace a growth mindset and encourage students to adopt the same approach to their learning and development. I believe that with effort, perseverance, and a willingness to learn, every student has the potential to grow and succeed.
