About

Kia ora, I joined the team here in 2008, initially as an unqualified teacher. I have two daughters and once they got a bit older, I decided to study for my Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. Shortly after, I worked towards becoming the head teacher in the under-twos room.

Before I joined the team, I was a cosmetic makeup artist. Once having children, everything changed; I knew I needed to be an early childhood teacher as I want young children to be nurtured and cared for by passionate teachers.

Outside work, I never really stop thinking about the tamariki, always looking for something new and exciting; collecting natural resources. Most weekends, I spend at the beach fishing, camping, riding motorbikes, and, most importantly, spending time with my family. We have two beautiful labradors (a girl chocolate lab and a black boy lab) that are always a part of our adventures.
