Nicola Powell

Kia ora, I have been at Kidz@Wintec for three years. As a teenager, I started volunteering in early childhood centres and have always been passionate about teaching tamariki and seeing them learn in a healthy environment.

I studied at Wintec and worked at other centres before coming here. I really wanted to turn my passion into a career, and it’s great that I’ve been able to do that.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family. I have two young children and I love making memories with them, doing different things, going to different places, and following their interests.
