What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
I enjoy teaching work I am already so close to in my creative life- storytelling, reading, writing and analysis.
What do you love about your area?
Communication is an overarching discipline, which covers, speaking, human interaction, understanding, visual, active and written language and working with others and ourselves. I love the scope and breadth of awareness that comes from work in this area.
Tell us about your experience in the industry
I am a writer of creative and academic pieces, an editor of a literary journal, a critic of theatre and books and an event organiser of book related festivals. I am enrolled in a PhD in Creative Writing at a n Australian University (part time).
What keeps you busy outside of Media Arts?
I read, write and watch movies when I am not doing any of the above-mentioned activities, which take up a load of time! I love to travel and am a keen gardener, cook and grandmother.
