What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
I enjoy seeing student work coming to fruition, and the thought that I have been part of the process that helped my students produce the best work they can.
What do you love about your area?
I love how photography can be used to depict what I find curious; the genre I like is documentary and producing photo books out of my projects have been a lot of fun, as it involves collaborating with designers and writers.
Tell us about your experience in the industry
I started my career in London working in the advertising, editorial and design industry before moving to New Zealand. I exhibit and publish my photographs both nationally and internationally with recent exhibitions in China, Greece, New Zealand, USA, Russia and the UK.
What keeps you busy outside of Media Arts?
Reading, lawn mowing, coffee, soccer, binge-watching Netflix, walking the dog, cooking, mountain biking, more coffee, and Instagram!
