What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
Teaching is a privilege in that students allow me to enter their inquiry, what they want to find out about or get better at. I can enable them in that and to some extent participate in it with them.
What do you love about your area?
Contemporary Art is a complex and important part of social life. Learning in Art is both practical and theoretical, conventional and wacky. Students bring their own interests and tastes to their learning and we get to expand and put those interests into professional contexts.
Tell us about your experience in the industry
My work at Wintec includes making painting for exhibition and public artworks.
What keeps you busy outside of Media Arts?
Motorcycle riding and the pursuit of world peace.
