After the programme has started

No refund will be given if you:

  • fail to attend a programme in which you are enrolled; or
  • withdraw from a programme once the programme has commenced for any reason, including illness or accident preventing attendance.

If you withdraw from a programme due to illness or accident, you may enrol in the same programme later provided you can produce a doctor’s certificate for the relevant dates.

Refunds

In the case you require a refund, please provide proof of your bank details, showing your name and the account number on the same form. This may be a deposit slip or the details at the top of a bank statement, and please black out any personal information. It is Wintec | Te Pūkenga policy not to refund to credit cards.

Refunds are processed weekly and will appear in your bank account shortly after the payment run.

Note: If a third party has paid for the programme, the third party will receive a refund.

2. Course cancellation

We may cancel or change the contents, delivery dates or teaching methods of any programme due to a lack of student demand, resource unavailability or any other unforeseen circumstances.

Wintec | Te Pūkenga will not pay for your travel or any related costs under any circumstances, including in the event of programme cancellation by us.

If a programme is cancelled or rescheduled, you will be given the opportunity to either:

  • attend the same programme on another date; or
  • transfer to another Programme (any difference between the cost of the programmes will be agreed and settled before the final enrolment is confirmed); or
  • receive a full refund for the cost of the programme.

3. Substitutions

If you cannot attend your programme, you may nominate a substitute to attend instead.

Requests for substitutions must be submitted in advance (no less than 15 working days prior to the programme start date). We will review each request on a case-by-case basis, allowing for any prerequisites and any work required before the programme starts.

All substitutions are subject to the discretion of the Professional Programme Administrator.
