What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
I love being around people, so my favourite part of my job is interacting with and helping our staff and students.
What do you love about your area?
Media arts is such an amazing place to be because you are surrounded by creative people who are doing mahi they are passionate about; I love it!
Tell us about your experience in the industry
I did my Bachelor of Communication here as well as some contract tutoring, so there is a real sense of "home" here. I also stood in the local body elections last year which was a lot of fun learning more about our city and people.
What keeps you busy outside of Media Arts?
Being a mum to three active boys keeps me busy. I also love travelling home to my marae in Te Nehenehenui, Manawatuu, Whanganui and Taranaki as often as I can.
