As a Counsellor you will help people make positive changes in their own lives. You’ll take the time to listen, to care, and support individuals, families, whānau and communities in obtaining the resources they need. You can also specialise within an area of counselling, such as Mental Health and Addictions counselling; Māori-centred counselling; and Family/Whānau counselling.

Commercial Music
A career in music can involve performance, recording, songwriting, production, teaching and a range of other roles. You’ll need an understanding of basic music theory and be familiar with the technical requirements of your instrument, mixing desk or software. Tasks could include rehearsing, marketing, developing songs or liaising with band members.
