Wintec students practice their craft at the Fieldays

Wintec journalism, photography and design students are putting their skills to work at the Fieldays this week creating the Fieldays Exhibitor – a magazine published daily during the event.

The New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays is an annual agricultural show and field day event held in mid-June at the Mystery Creek Events Centre near Hamilton. It is the largest agricultural event in the southern hemisphere.

The students will spend the week working as part of the Wintec Fieldays news team – the only student newsroom in the country to design, write, photograph and produce a daily newspaper and linked website.
