Wintec students embark on Thai fashion experience

Fashion students
A group of Wintec fashion students set off for Thailand on Sunday 2 July for a two-week educational tour of Bangkok.

Accompanied by three Wintec staff, the students will spend time learning about the fashion industry in Thailand and some of the traditional techniques used in Bangkok.

They will also visit the wholesale district where they will see a vast range of products, textiles, accessories and more.

The tour came about after Wintec tutors Julie Ashby and Mark Dawson-Smith visited Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep last year to discuss possible exchange opportunities for students.
