Wintec communication student selected for PR ambassador role

Wintec Communication student Heather Williams  has been selected by PRINZ to be their Wintec student ambassador for 2018.

Heather will take up her position on the committee of the Waikato branch of PRINZ, promote and support regular networking events and assist with the annual conference to be held in Hamilton at the end of May.

"I love writing and I'm just glad someone else enjoys my writing enough to think I deserve a place as an ambassador with responsibilities," says Heather

Heather is in her third year, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising and has 11 years of healthcare experience. She is a mother of a one-year-old and a stepmother to a nine-year-old, so hard work is something she is accustomed to. Between juggling work, school and family, she enjoys writing and is currently working on a book. 

Heather is studying a degree in Communication with Wintec's School of Media Arts.
