NCEA results are out and Wintec is taking enrolments for semester one 2025
The wait is finally over for secondary students across the country to receive their NCEA results and secure plans for 2025. If your plans are for tertiary study in 2025, it’s not too late!
Applications for study at Wintec for semester one are still open. Wintec offers programmes across a wide range of exciting subject areas. From engineering to early childhood teaching, sport science to vet nursing, and so much more - there’s something for almost everyone!
We also have options to fit wherever you are at with your study level - whether you aced NCEA or didn’t do quite as well as you’d hoped.

The sessions are a great opportunity to meet with our academic staff and chat about options best suited to you. Anyone considering future tertiary study can tour the campuses, ask questions, meet support staff, and even apply to enrol at the session.

Government’s Fees Free scheme
Effective from 2025, the Government’s Fees Free scheme is now for students’ final year of study. So, learners starting their study for the first time in 2025 may be able to get the Government’s Fees Free subsidy up to the value of $12,000 for their final year of study to help reduce the overall cost of their programme.
