Clinic operating information

For all appointments or queries, please ring 07 834 8869. The nurse will triage you over the telephone first and arrange accordingly. Phone consultations will continue, but if required, you will be asked to come into the clinic for a face-to-face consultation with either the nurse or doctor.

If you have any of the following symptoms, please let us know and stay at home:

  • Fever,
  • new or worsening cough,
  • sore throat,
  • shortness of breath,
  • sneezing or runny nose,
  • temporary loss of smell, or
  • altered sense of taste.

Our team can provide care for urgent issues, long-term condition management, mental health issues, repeat prescriptions, and treat common illnesses.

Opening hours:
  • City clinic: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm
  • Rotokauri clinic: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8.30am-2pm

If you are required to come into the clinic, please, if possible, come alone. If a support person needs to accompany you, please discuss this before your appointment.

Patients with flu-like symptoms who have a booked appointment and/or are presenting to the reception desk will be asked to wear a mask. Thank you for your understanding.

Kia ora, are you studying or working at Wintec | Te Pūkenga?

Our on-campus Health Services are available to assist and support you with your physical and mental wellbeing.

Health Services is a nurse-led practice. This means that our nurses are specially trained to provide you with a high level of care.

When you make an appointment with us, you will speak to or have an appointment with a nurse who will assess your needs, provide health care and/or book your time with a doctor.

Ākonga (learners) currently studying can enrol with us, meaning we will become your primary healthcare provider. Those enrolled then pay subsidised rates for doctor or nurse services. Upon completing your studies, you will need to transfer to another medical centre. Please talk to one of our reception teams if you have any queries.

Find out how to become a registered patient by popping into either the City or Rotokauri clinic or contacting us using the details below. We recommend registering before you need your first appointments so we will have enough time to receive medical records from your previous medical clinic.
