Background

Toitū Kaupapa Māori Mātauranga - Māori Education Trust offers scholarships for secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate studies to Māori secondary school and tertiary students from Kawaerau who meet the respective scholarship criteria.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a beneficial owner or descendant in the Kawerau A6 block. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please email the Trust.

Applicants must be undertaking a recognised full-time tertiary degree in the fields of science, forestry, business or environment at a recognised tertiary institution in New Zealand. You must be at least in your second year of study.

How to apply

Applicants must provide a covering letter outlining their chosen career path, their need for the scholarship, and describe ways in which they can assist the Trust.
