Rural Women New Zealand - TextBook Grant for Tertiary students

Background

This is a one-off grant available to tertiary students to assist with the purchase of resource materials, including software (maximum 5 grants offered annually).

Eligibility

New Zealand Citizens only (this grant is not exclusive to women).

The application form must be accompanied by the following:

  • A letter, written by the applicant, outlining the reasons for requiring this financial assistance, the reasons for the proposed course of study and the intended use of the qualification.
  • Character reference from a responsible Officer of the Rural Women New Zealand Branch concerning the circumstances of the family and the need for assistance for the applicant's education.
  • A character reference from a responsible citizen other than a teacher or member of the Rural Women New Zealand Branch.
  • Proof of enrolment at university, polytechnic, or college for a full year course.
