Background

To award scholarships to students from the Eastern Bay of Plenty for study and research in New Zealand and its territories. Students must have undertaken and completed their first year of tertiary study.

Eligibility

Applicants should have proven academic ability and personal attributes. Preferences will be given to research leading to the publication of theses, essays or dissertations. All successful applicants shall be required to supply regular written progress reports of their research to the Trust.

Scholarships are to be offered to the following disciplines on New Zealand issues:
