Animal Technology Internships

Students studying towards Wintec animal technology qualifications are available for work placements while they study. This opportunity provides them with learning opportunities in a work-based environment to apply their skills within the companion and large animals’ industry. Our students are motivated and ready to work with on-going access from our support team.

Previous industry providers include veterinary clinics, farms and equine facilities. We recognise and acknowledge the support from the following organisations: Hamilton Zoo, Waikato After hours, SPCA, and Hamilton City Councils.

Below is an outline of programme placement commitments. If you would like to provide a work-based learning opportunity to one of our Animal Technology students, please contact us by email or phone 07 834 8800 ext 3232.
