The Building and Construction Level 3 programme has an emphasis on practical content and project-based learning. Theory content is directly related to the practical projects at each stage of construction, meaning your learning has real industry relevance. This course will offer you transferable skills in the building industry trade that employers are looking for.

Entry Level: To move on to year two, you will need to have completed 80% of the available credits in year one. Candidates who do not meet this may be accepted at the discretion of the WTA.
NCEA Level: Level 3
Number of Credits: 27
Duration of Programme: 31 weeks
Programme Structure: One day per week (8.30am-3pm) during the school term.
Location: Depending on your closest location, it will be one of the following:
- Rotokauri Campus
- Kopu Workshop, 25 Kopu Road, Thames
- Ōtorohanga Campus, 38 Phillips Avenue, Ōtorohanga
Note: Delivery at Kopu is dependent on the number of students who select it as their first choice.
Cost: Free to the student.
