Students studying hairdressing and beauty therapy learn in a purpose-built, fully equipped facility. Located in the Wintec R Block building on Collingwood Street, our salon Urban Hair is open to the public providing authentic, work-based, and hands-on learning opportunities for students by working with real clients across hair care, hair salon services, and retail sales.

Urban Spa caters for beauty, body, and spa training and also prides itself on offering learners the opportunity to develop and grow their skills, knowledge, and experiences by providing massage techniques, nail technology, and makeup services to clients.

Our contemporary equipment ensures learners receive exposure to current trends and industry requirements. Retail products are sourced from professional industry suppliers offering the latest in hair and beauty treatments. 

Industry work placement forms a key part of both our hairdressing and beauty therapy programmes. This provides learners with valuable opportunities to practice the learnings they have achieved in the classroom environment.
